Dr. Rita Jerath - Medical Director`
Dr. Rita Jerath is a highly accomplished and board-certified dermatologist with over 40 years of clinical and cosmetic dermatology experience. Her extensive career spans both public healthcare and private practice, where she has become renowned for her expertise in medical and aesthetic skin treatments.
Dr. Jerath began her medical career in 1984 with the Punjab Government, India, providing comprehensive dermatological care and managing a wide spectrum of skin disorders. Over her 28 years of public service, she played a key role in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols and conducting educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
From 2012 to 2024, Dr. Jerath continued her practice in cosmetic dermatology at Jerath Cosmetology Clinic in Punjab, India. There, she focused on advanced cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Botox, and dermal fillers, while adopting the latest skincare technologies to improve patient outcomes.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from UCMS Medical College, Delhi, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Dermatology from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.
Her clinical competencies include:
- CO₂, Erbium YAG, Nd:YAG, Pulsed Dye, Alexandrite, and Diode Lasers
- Fractional Laser Resurfacing
- Laser Hair and Tattoo Removal
- Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
Dr. Jerath is a licensed practitioner under the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and is also registered with the Punjab Medical Council. She is a member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
With her deep knowledge, patient-first philosophy, and commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Jerath now leads the medical team at Aivita Wellness Clinic, delivering world-class services in Dubai.
